The only problem is, that the 'Pinned' icons are still sitting on the Task-bar, which isn't the same as Vista or XP.Д«ut you can easily remove all of them by right clicking and choosing 'Unpin' this program from the Task-bar. If you chose the 'Use the small Icons' Check-box in the properties screen, the Task-bar will actually shrink down to look similar to 'Vista'. Now you should see the buttons show up with text labels like you are probably used to. Or, you could chose 'Combine when Task-bar is full'.

Ive reinstalled Chrome and also tried to go to settings plus run it from the applications window in Windows but it still wont maximize. This bug has existed for a long time, dating back to Windows 7. When I click on Chrome on my taskbar the screen wont maximize. It depends on how much of a problem this is for you. The taskbar overlaying on top of games, YouTube videos, and web browsers such as Chrome and Firefox is a common issue in Windows.
